Things I've discovered

Just a few things. . .
1. Being the mom/housekeeper for a 6-year-old with terrible aim in "the facilities" makes you admire the elementary school janitor and KINDA miss diapers.

2. The older you get, the more stray hairs you'll discover and the more humiliated you'll be when you do and wonder "how many people saw this giant?!?!?"

3. You can always count on a good friend to point out a booger, odd stain on the butt of your pants or that you never got to the zipper part of getting dressed that morning. (Note - these are NOT all observations about me if you were wondering)

4.  It IS possible for a 4-year-old to manipulate her momma with the words, "because I love you, mommy.  I REALLLLLY like you".

5. That same 4-year-old can also make you feel gynormous when she stumbles across a "teddy" and asks if she can wear it (it does, afterall, appear to be a dress just her size) and when told, "no, that's mommy's" to respond, "that's too small for you, mom".  But, no hard feelings. . . see #4.

6. Beautiful weather has a strange way of causing laundry duties to occur along with cleaning of areas one never knew existed in a home.

7. When your birthday is near, don't ask probing questions. . . about ANYTHING!!!!  It's just better that way.

Finally. . .

8. Too much "America's Next Top Model" can have a terrifying effect on those around you. (again - not me!!!!)
